Office Stationary

The Office: An American Workplace is my favourite show of all time. So imagine my hysteria when I saw these phenomenal wedding invitations for Jim & Pam, one of the very best couples in TV history:
LOVE them!! They're from a great stationary find, The Future Mrs. Darcy, a super-talented designer who I will definitely be in touch with for our wedding stationary

Donation Required

This is not fair. Why are all the best invitations so expensive? This is yet another gorgeous wedding invite, this time from Cheree Berry...

I love letterpress, it's so classy...but expensive *sigh*.

More Ideas On Paper

As my quest for the perfect wedding stationary continues, I have found these really simple but exceptionally pretty invites from Mika 78. AND, h2b likes them - bonus!

Save a date, any date!

So, whilst the wedding research has continued, my previous excitement has suffered something of a blow; my maid of honour can't make it on our preferred date. I can't tell you how frustrating this is, not because I'm annoyed with her for having another wedding over the same weekend, but because for the first time it felt as though we were getting somewhere with our wedding planning. In actual fact, whilst h2b and I are ready to get married, it looks like we will have to wait until everyone else is ready to attend. Anyway, there is very little we can do about it other than settle on a date in 2011 and send out our save the date cards, reserving the time of our friends and family at least 18 months in advance!

Whilst I'm on the subject of save the dates, Minted have a gorgeous selection and I'm particularly loving the one below. As for the exact ones we'll opt for, I'll have to leave you in suspense!

Love Hearts

I just love these heart stickers from Inkihandmade at Dawanda. They'll make a lovely addition to our wedding stationary thank you very much!

Diaries!

It's that time of year again when I request a diary from my dad. I don't know what it is but it has become something of a tradition over the years. Equally traditional is that my diary will invariably go up in price each year! This year however, I have surprised myself. Yes, there are some gorgeous Smythson diaries that I have my eye on (notably the Erdem Girl diaries...*sigh*)

But, I'm also loving this gorgeous diary from Barbara Wiggins, available at http://www.notonthehighstreet.com/:

The one in pewter looks stunning; imagine finding that amidst all the rubbish in your handbag? Plus, it frees up some extra cash for much-needed Christmas presents... I'll be happy whatever I get, but I can't believe I'm erring on the side of the (gulp) budget option.

A wedding-shaped package just for me!

So, another thing you will get to know about me is that I am soon to be married! Well, I use the term 'soon' loosely; my partner and I have been engaged for about two years now although we're planning to get married in 2011. Nevertheless, this hasn't stopped me researching and seeking out wedding suppliers. More recently I have been searching for stylish wedding stationery (costing next--to-nothing ideally) and only today I came home to find a beautiful package from Rebekah Daley at my door: http://www.rebekahdaley.com/. She is so talented and her collection is just incredible. All I need to do now is convince husband-to-be...
