A wedding-shaped package just for me!

So, another thing you will get to know about me is that I am soon to be married! Well, I use the term 'soon' loosely; my partner and I have been engaged for about two years now although we're planning to get married in 2011. Nevertheless, this hasn't stopped me researching and seeking out wedding suppliers. More recently I have been searching for stylish wedding stationery (costing next--to-nothing ideally) and only today I came home to find a beautiful package from Rebekah Daley at my door: http://www.rebekahdaley.com/. She is so talented and her collection is just incredible. All I need to do now is convince husband-to-be...

Just before Bed-fordshire...

In a major overhaul of my life, I recently decided to ditch my job and follow my dreams to become a high powered lawyer. At the moment however, 'living the dream' seems only to mostly consist of law school during the day and studying until deep into the heart of the night. So it's about 2.30am and here I am again....studying. One thing I love about late nights though is that there are no distractions, that is there were very few until I discovered blogging and, currently even more importantly, other people's blogs! My new absolute favourite is http://tackyweddings.com/. It is just genius, and as an Irish girl myself I'm so glad to see my clan is particularly well represented!

Hopefully I'll soon figure out how to post links in a far superior way, but not now - now I'm off to catch some winks. Night!

Girl Meets Blog

Fabulous. In a very Carrie Bradshaw-esque fashion I feel as though my first blog post should be utterly fabulous. Although, I'm beginning to think the only thing I have in common with Carrie is my technical inability. In fact, I have to concede to only discovering the blogosphere recently; in my former career in PR I happily chatted about the influence of blogs and all these 'citizen journalists blah, blah, blah', without actually realising the inspiration to be found and the fun to be had online. So, after stumbling upon some amazing blogs I have decided to get in on the action. Let me tell you now, I have no idea what I'm doing. But I hope to find out as I go along.

So here's to the first post! Perhaps not as fabulous as I had planned but the first step in my fantasy Jimmy Choos no less.
