Doing exactly what it says on the tin, this genius site allows you to hire delectable diamonds for your wedding day that would otherwise be out of reach. So whereas a necklace may have a retail value just short of £4000, it's available to hire for the week of your wedding at a snip for just £250. A-ah-mazing. What's more, there's a specific bridal gallery allowing busy brides to get straight to business. So, red carpet style wedding day jewellery on your wedding day? Check.

Rent Your Rocks Ladies!
Well, the first revision day in my long haul journey towards exam season may have been pretty disastrous, but it hasn't been a complete washout. In fact, I've discovered something that will TRANSFORM my wedding (yay!). Rent Your Rocks is an online treasure trove of glitter, suddenly made accessible.
Headband Love!
I'm a total sucker for a headband and these ones from Rockstar Diaries writer Taza's shop are just the ticket:
It's times like these I wish I suited dark hair...and yellow...and red lippy. At least I can buy a headband!
Westwood Wellies
OMG - Love, love, love these Vivienne Westwood Anglomania wellies:
And while I'm at it, I'm also head over heels with her Hearts and Heels range, which is just perfect for brides-to-be (although my mum doesn't approve so they're out for me). At the very least, I'm going to have to treat myself to her simple black heels, which as per all the aforementioned shoes, are a collaboration with Melissa Couture. What's more, not only are they absolutely to die for but are very purse-friendly too. Perfect combination I say!

Ban.Do
I must confess, I'm not a big jewellery person. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate my share of diamonds and pearls, but big jewellery looks all wrong and try-hard on me. One area I can't wait to accessorize as a bride however is my hair, and having stumbled across a gorgeous brand called ban.do I'm even more excited now.
Their range of hair-wear is so chic, and knowing that h2b would like me to wear my hair down on the big day, I think incorporating a little number from these guys could do just the trick.

And the Oscar for Best Dressed 'Sleb Goes to...
Demi Moore, without doubt...
This woman must be a Benjamin Button type, what else could explain her impossible regression ('surgery!' you cry - yes perhaps)? Still, her devastatingly beautiful Atelier Versace gown stole the show at last night's Oscars as far as I'm concerned.
And as for SJP? Shame on you. You let the side down so much that I'm not even going to post a picture. Orange, tattoo-transferred skin teamed with a yellow dress and bouffant hair? The word 'Chanel' doesn't even redeem you love. Tut tut.
Sara Berman
I've belatedly discovered Sara Berman, a fantastic North London designer who, despite having been established for a good ten years, has sadly only been on my radar for the past two weeks.
As a girl with a particular penchance for leather goods (who is also a hypocritical vegetarian), I've fallen head-over-heels for her stud-embellished and ruffled handbags. What's more, she has some incredible white snakeskin clutch bags which will be the perfect to accompnay my wedding dress. Oh which one to choose...
Babyhero
Our friends are due to give birth to their first child in just over two weeks, so of course I've been prowling the internet to find the perfect gift. And I think I've found it. I just LOVE this Super Baby Body Grow from Boutique to You.
Is it not the cutest thing you have ever seen?! My other half is a total sci-fi geek so he thinks it's great, plus it's only £9 - happy days!

You Said HOW Much?
I always knew Louboutins would be expensive, but little did I know they would be THIS expensive. Yes, my dream Very Privee wedding shoes cost a whopping £490! And yes, I know how vulgar it is to talk about money, but seriously...£490?! Of course I would like to prance down the aisle in Louboutins which, FYI, I would expect to feel like walking on clouds for that price. But should I really cull 10 guests just so I can wear my dream shoes? Hhhhmmmm, sadly I think not. Boo hoo.
Swoon
Ever since the recent Cosmo Bride first dropped, I have been mesmerised by the dress on the front cover. Having spent literally hundreds of pounds on wedding magazines since I first got engaged however, I have had to put a ban on my expensive habit and just dream of what may be behind the cover. Today though, I gave in. Whilst braving the snow to go to the supermarket, I got my ever-so-lovely other half to buy the issue in question.
Now onto the good part. This stunning, Audrey Hepburn-esque bateau neck dress is by Ritva Westenius. And having taken a look at her website, there are a number of other gorgeous dresses I have my eye on too. Note to self: must book appointment...

The Bride Wore...
I have an ongoing quest: to figure out what my partner would like me to be wear as I walk up the aisle. He is quite fussy you see, so the last thing I want is for him to think I look like a bit of a meringue! So far I have gathered that he would like me to wear a slim-fitting dress, that's not too lacey, not teamed with any outlandish accessories and is basicially very simple. Hhhhmmmmm, this doesn't quite conform to what I had in mind!
As part of my research to find something that keeps us both happy I have found some gorgeous and (shock!) affordable dresses from New York designer Saja. One has already had approval from h2b. I wonder whether he will also sanction a trip to New York to try it on though...?!

Thread Social
I'm not usually a fan of Cheryl Cole, but I love the Thread Social dress she wore on a night out this week. Check out their website for their collection: http://www.social.threaddesign.com/. I need to start saving my student pennies!
